He was predeceased by: his parents, Marriner Merrill Morrison and Minnie Noel; his stepsiblings, Sharlene Spurlock, Kay Mann Hansen and Scott Nielson; and his grandchildren, Gideon and Minnie Nielson.
He is survived by: his former spouse Elmo Earl Nielson; his wife Angela; his sisters, Loenza Oliverson and Lynda Todd (Larry); and his children, Joseph (Kimberly), David (Kelly), Lincoln and Nanette.
