He was predeceased by: his parents, David Glenn Buist and Donna Larsen Buist; and his sister Lafawn Buist. He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann Buist; and his children, Jonathan Buist (Billie), Jeffrey Buist (Charity), Jamie Swa (Adam), Julie Buist, Joseph Buist (Brittney) and Macie Buist. He is also survived by 16 Grandchildren, and 7 Great-Grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (20 N 100 W, Mendon, UT 84325).
