She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Nix and Virginia Nix; her husbands, Tom Olson and Monte Crew; and her sisters, Nancy Carol Nix and Vicky Nix Hathcock.

She is survived by: her sisters, B. K. Stanley, Harmony Lengford and Angie Wilkinson; and her children, Heidi Olson (Jon Davis), Crystal Olson (Cameron Thompson) and R. J. Olson (Carlie Olson).

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the American Cancer Society.
