She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Henry Bowcutt and Emma Blau Bowcutt; her husband Grant Thorson; her daughter Laurie; her sisters, Jean Colton and Vida Gines; and her daughters, Lisa, Julie Hansen (Lynn) and Karen Buxton (Lance). She was also cherished by eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
