She was predeceased by: her parents, Heber George Pratt and Laura Leona Gooch Pratt; her husband Jay B. Sargent; and her siblings, Ona June, Jay and Leon (Betty).
She is survived by: her brother Coy Pratt (Carolyn). She is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews.
She served on the American Heart Association's (AHA) Education Committee where she received a 10-year grant from the AHA to develop curriculum for the public schools.
