He was predeceased by: his parents, John James Sweeney and Muriel Jean Picard; and his brother Brian Patrick Sweeney. He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Emily Albright (Adam) of Pleasant Grove, Katelynn Pugmire (Jamal) of Spanish Fork, Mark Sweeney (Lauren) of Logan, Elliott Sweeney (Raven Flynn) of Sherman Oaks and Scott Sweeney of Orem, Utah.; his grandchildren, Kyrie, Liam, Hunter and Jayden; his siblings, Tricia Venne (Steve) of Agawam, Judi Weston (Ben) of Sheridan and Daniel Akalis (Jenivee) of Riverton, Utah.; and his aunts, Cecile Nystrom, Estelle Sousa and Sue Rodrigues.
