Jay Lamar Peterson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2022, at the age of 83, Jay Lamar Peterson of Logan, Utah, born in Santaquin, Utah passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, LaRue Bagshaw and John Herbert Peterson; his former spouse Earl Jarvis; his uncle Jess Jarvis; his siblings, Richard, Glade, Garry, Danny and Jolene; his son Brian Dale; his wife Carol Coray Peterson; his children, Steven Peterson, Lynette Hale (Tom), David Peterson (Lacie) and Cheryl Roberts; his siblings, Darlene, Paul, Joe, Bonnie and Debra; and his grandchildren, Greg, Eric, Matthew, Jacob, Nathan, Michael, Jonathan, Laura, Megan, Rachel, Rebecca, Sarah, Amanda and Jessica. He was also cherished by 13 great-grandchildren.

He revisited his woodworking hobby during the COVID pandemic, churning out wishing wells as fast as we were able to keep him supplied with lumber.
