She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorenzo Preece and Mary Ellen Calkins Allen; her husband Russell S. Poppleton; her daughter Ruth Poppleton Winkler; and her daughter-in-law Connie Neel Poppleton.

She is survived by: her children, Russell Allen Poppleton (Marla), Joseph W. Poppleton (Tonja), Robert Allen Poppleton (Jennifer), Dale Allen Poppleton, Lorraine Poppleton Cherry (John) and John Allen Poppleton (Becky); and her siblings, Lorenzo Preece Allen and Alice Allen Spackman. She is also survived by 37 grandchildren, 83 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren.
