He was predeceased by: his parents, T. Joseph Steed and Louise Miller Steed; his siblings, Eloise (Kowallis), Grant, Carolyn and Richard; and his son-in-law Paul Cazier (Leesa).
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Kaye Taylor; his siblings, Sharon, Steven and Helen (Ed Smedley); and his children, Leesa (Daniel Simmons), Jana (Randall Haws), Clark (Kari) and Brian (Leslie). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
