He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nopomoeno and Aurora Romero Garcia; his grandson Corbett Garcia; and his siblings, Morris "Butch" Garcia and Alice Garcia.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Thorsted; and his children, Trenten Garcia (Alisha), Gina Rasmussen (Scott), LeighAnna Kimber (Quentin), Eve Garcia (Trent VanValkenburg) and April Lindley (Nic).
