He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Orian and Erma Eldora Salisbury Nielson; his son Douglas Criss Bliss; his grandson Collin Chance Turner; and his siblings, Hal Arland Nielson, Phillip Ray, Renee Nielson, Robert W., Vivian Nielson, William Boyd and Shirley Nielson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann of Loa; his children, Debbie, Doug Davis of Leeds, Julie, Kim Zentmyer of Fruita, Colorado, Richard, Katherine Nielson of Richfield, Linda and Alma Paulson of West Jordan; his daughter-in-law Robin Bliss of Hurricane; and his sister-in-law Linda Nielson of Victorville, California.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren.
