She was predeceased by: her parents, Denzel Leonard and Jean Torgerson Taylor; her former husband Bob Nelson; her son Andrew Taylor Nelson; and her sister Lucy Ann Taylor.
She is survived by: her husband Dar of Loa; her daughter Diane Vijaya Call of St. George; her stepchildren, Lynette of Simi Valley, California, David Armstrong of Simi Valley, California, Kris of Simi Valley, California, Christine Henrie of Simi Valley, California, Steve, Peggy Henrie of Bakersfield, California, Michelle and Daniel Valadez of McKinney, Texas; and her siblings, Rhea Casper, Denzel Eugene, Jackie Taylor of Layton, Thomas Rees Taylor of Loa, Helen of Loa, Layne Jones of Loa, Andy, Diane Taylor of West Jordan, Dan and Jeanette Taylor of Loa. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren.
She suffered from Alzheimer's which took her mind, but it never took her spirit.
