He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Scott and Merelda Burton Mackay; his brother Teddy; his daughter Laura Mackay; and his wife Barbara Grossi.
He is survived by: his sister Margaret; his cousin Boyd; his children, Julie Holmes (Cliff) of Orem, Scott (Alaine) of Drummond, Brian (Joan) of Sedalia, Sheri Clark (Bruce) of St. Cloud, Layne (Barbara) of Rupert, Robyn Luke (Kevin) of West Jordan and Wendy Wilkins (Alan) of Lehi, Utah.; and his stepchildren, Barbara, Valerie Barnett (Tom), Dena Hollowell, Karl J Chlarson (Lisa) and Lorie Bauer (Brad).
Viewing was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Lindon 10th Ward (1051 E 200 S St, Lindon, UT 84042). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Lindon 10th Ward Chapel (1051 E 200 S St, Lindon, UT 84042). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Rupert City Cemetery (450 N Meridian, Rupert, ID 83350).
