He was predeceased by: his close friend Jeanette Marie Powell; his father Eugene Snider; his siblings, Don, Sidney, Louise and Joseph; and his mother Barbra Elna Jenson Powell.
He is survived by: his brother Clyde Powell (Betty) of Nephi; his children, Richard Powell (Shawna) of Lindon, Julia Powell of Provo and Kirsten South (Greg) of Olympia Washington; and his spouse Eternal (Jeanette Marie Millet) of Orem. He is also survived by 11 Grandkids, and 19 great-grandchildren.
