She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Whitfield Spencer and Amanda Zelpha Hancock Spencer; her daughter Julie Anne; her husband Verlin; her siblings, Raymond and Mary Ann; her stepson Keaton; and her grandson Michael.
She is survived by: her daughter Katie Madsen (Reid); her son-in-law Colonel Jeff Oeser; her grandson Peter Madsen (Noel); her great grandchildren, Kayli, Caiden, Canon and Lucy; her grandchildren, Spencer Madsen (Leanne) and Elaine Schacht (Danny); her great grandchildren, Ben, Billy, Kat and Sarah; her granddaughter Beth Snider (Jeff); her great grandchildren, Lindsay, Logan and Ryan; her granddaughter Jenn Wilson (Greg); her great grandchildren, Carson, Kate, Carter and Carissa; her granddaughter Jackie Munn (Erik); her great grandchildren, Eton and Andy; her granddaughter Jessica Rolf (Brenden); her stepdaughter Sherrie Murray; her grandson Dwayne Keaton; her great grandchild Wyatt; her granddaughter Valerie O'Keefe (Patrick); her great grandchildren, Sean and Caitlin; her granddaughter Teri Lutz; her great grandchildren, Michaela, Gabe and Freja; her grandchildren, Greg Murray, Raymond Murray and Rebekah Murray; and also, Arison and Andromeda.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the Lehi Ranches Ward (465 W 700 S, Lehi, UT 84043). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. She resisted the idea at first - "Those places are for old people," she protested two months before her 90th birthday - but came to truly appreciate not being alone at home, especially during the pandemic.
