John C. Elsey Obituary
The memory of John C. Elsey (Lindon, Utah), who passed away on February 8, 2025 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the sacred silence of farewell, John is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that John's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip James Elsey and Louise Horne James Elsey. He is survived by: his wife Mavis Larkin; his children, John R. Elsey (Charlotte), Michael C. Elsey (Sherie), Kristin Oxnard and Susan Seekar (Kip); and his brother Kenneth. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM and on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Chapel (1051 E 200 S St, Lindon, UT 84042). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
