He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Bruning and Marilyn Bruning; his daughter Sydney Taylor Bruning; and his son-in-law Philip Gorst. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn. He is also survived by three daughters, two sons-in-law and one grandchild, though, reportedly, other grandchildren.
