She was predeceased by: her parents, William Quail Despain and Mary Asay Despain; her husband Colvin Reece Tanner; her children, Sara-Ruth Tanner Johnson, John Colvin Tanner (Julie) and Dawnell Stuart; her sons-in-law, Alfred Duane Johnson and Aaron Amundsen Beard; her siblings, Joyce Despain Lemon, Eleazer Despain, Elna Despain Peterson, Ronald Despain and Merrill Despain; her grandchildren, Carissa Hardy, Lena Tanner, Amanda Hardy and James Stuart; her granddaughter-in-law Angela Birchfield; and her great grandchildren, Caleb Avis and Hope Quigley.
She is survived by: her siblings, Bill Despain, Marian Lee (Ed), John Despain (Sandra), Margaret Pickering and Alan Despain (Jennie); and her children, Agnes Patrica Openshaw (Fred), J. Lee Tanner (Becky), Barbara Hardy (Dale), Mary Moore (Michael), James Tanner (Lee) and Kelli Lacerda (Jorge).
