He was predeceased by: his parents, David Richard Mitchell and Martha Glazier; his siblings, May Louise Rampton, Forrest Richard Mitchell (Dick) and Albert Dean Mitchell; his wife Anne Barton; his son Scott Porter; and his son-in-law Rick Clark.
He is survived by: his former spouse Eilene Draper; his children, Eilene and Price; his stepdaughter Deanna; his children, Cheryl Smith (Bill), Michelle Mitchell, Shauna Clark, Claudia Bowles (Bruce), Ralph Mitchell, Allan Porter (Patti), Cindy Buer (Gary), DeeAnne Christopherson, Sandy Porter (Deanna) and Matt Porter (Lenay); and his daughter-in-law Garla Porter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
