He was predeceased by: his parents, Rulon Peterson and June Lynch Peterson; his sisters, Elaine Kent Osborn, LuJean Rayl Hardy and Lynette Staheli Bingham; and his grandson CJ Olsen.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Peterson; his children, Robert (Shiela), Cheryl Thomas (Gary) and Janet Olsen; his grandchildren, Brody Bennett, Kyle Thomas, Jessica Thomas Latimer, Nicole Peterson, Taylor Thomas, Brittany Thomas and Braden Peterson; and also, Hayden Latimer and Zander Bennett.
