With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Don Maxwell Yates (Lehi, Utah), who passed away on April 17, 2025 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Theron, Marvin, Norman, LaVon, Duane and Belva.
He is survived by: his wife Janae Chidester; his children, Alden, Doreen Barker (Paul), Tyler, Todd (Kim), Stacey Redford (Jim), Travis (Amanda) and Derek (Sarah); and his parents, Zina Yates and Hyrum Yates. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lehi Central Stake Center (200 N Center St, Lehi, UT 84043). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
