He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Flanick and Lola M. Flanick; his father-in-law Darrell Asay; and his sister-in-law Tammy Stiles. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Asay; his sons, Mike (Hillary Hansen), Chris (Jamie) and Scott (Kristine); his grandchildren, Lily, Lexi, Bryleigh, Kamberlyn, Taycen and Bridger; his mother-in-law Char Asay; and his sisters-in-law, Cyndi and Lisa (Bob).

“Sherry, I was saddened when I saw Bill's obituary, he was a special person in my mind. I was in SLC in July and tried to call him but evidently the numbers had changed. An email went out to some of the old Holeman alums that are still hanging around to let them know about Bill. We think the world of you, too!
