It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven J. Morton of Layton, Utah, born in Ogden, Utah, who passed away on October 28, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Waynard G Morton and Bonnie Morton. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Heywood; his children, Chad Brockbrader (Emily) and Lindsey Williams (Darvin); his brothers, Brian Morton (Beverly), Jerald Morton (Kristie) and Gregory Morton (April); and his sister-in-law Bev Reinhold. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lindquist's Layton Mortuary (1867 N Fairfield Rd, Layton, UT 84041). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kaysville City Cemetery (500 E Crestwood Rd, Kaysville, UT 84037).
