It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Layne Scott Williams (Layton, Utah), who passed away on January 27, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Williams and Paula Williams; and his brothers, Doug, Paul and Clay.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Gailey Williams; his children, Brandon Scott Williams, Alesha McKinlay (Cory), Jamie Garcia (Steph) and Karley Checketts (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Madison, Mikayla, Tucker, Bridger, Cooper, Brenna, Henry, Augustus, Finnegan and Maxwell; his great grandchildren, Madden and Payne; and his siblings, Shelley (Les), Jackie, Tom (Sherrie), Cal (Kathy), Leesa, Kathy, Wendy (Robert), Carrie (Kirt), Wes (Stefanie) and Ryan. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
