She was predeceased by: her parents, Cyril Bird and Blanche Bird (Sorenson); her brothers, Vaughn "Bud" and Lamar; her husband Lawrence Leo Damewood, Sr.; and her son Robert Allen Damewood.
She is survived by: her children, Larry, Patti, Joe Levi (Natalie) and Josh Levi (Nikki); and her grandchildren, Tawni Malcolm (Daniel), Amy Hiller (Andrew), Robert Damewood (Kirsten), Laura Richardson (Justin), Melissa Purcell (William), Vincent Damewood, Michael Levi, Jessica Levi (Geo Trujillo), Porter Levi, Spencer Levi, Erikka Levi, Darien Levi and Theron Levi. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.
When her eyesight began to fail and was no longer able to see well enough to sew, she donated untold amounts of fabric and sewing supplies to those who could take up the tradition.
