He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Lola Humpherys Riggs and George Seers Riggs; his son Danny; and his grandchildren, Katrina and Kevin.
He is survived by: his wife Carrie Layne; his children, Michelle Riggs, Wendy Hinckley, Ryan Riggs (Michelle), Justin Cooper (Leann) and Brandon McDaniel; his grandchildren, Joshua, Alexandra (Saxon), Tristen, Brayden, Ashyln, Megan, Alice and Ember; his great grandchildren, Xander, Leon and Autumn; and his sister Linda Davis (Don).
Viewing was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:40 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Valley View Ward (2455 N Vly Vw Dr, Layton, UT 84040).
