He was predeceased by: his father Clark Laws Barton; his siblings, Alan Barton and Coleen Barton; his former wife AnnMarie Barton; his wife Brenda Barton; and his daughter Lorena Barton.
He is survived by: his mother Cherril Kay Oyler; his son Jeffrey Lynn Barton (Abigail); his siblings, Julian Dale Barton (Kathy) and Laurie Kay Anderson (Paul); and his grandchildren, Raevyn Ann Sewell (Parker), Alexander Jay Barton (Emma), Apollo Crawford (Steven), Lucas Jeffrey Barton and Cameron James Barton.
Viewing will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Heritage Ward (725 S 200 E, Layton, UT 84041). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Syracuse City Cemetery (1250 S 1000 W, Syracuse, UT 84075).
