He was predeceased by: his father George Daniel Taggart (Myra Josephine Bingham); and his brother Dan Taggart. He is survived by: his children, Katie (Bryan McCarty), Allison (JayDee Gunnell) and Chase (Hiromi Harata); his wife Elaine; his brother Dave Taggart (Natalie); his in-laws, Susan Taggart, Marty, Carolyn Rasmussen, Richard, Gloria Rasmussen, Evelyn Jenkins, Shawna and Doug Durbano; his son-in-law Bryan McCarty (Taggart GrandchildrenAccompanied); his children, FamilyKatie McCarty (Loves), Shanna Taggart Diven (Ted Diven) and JayDee Gunnell; his children-in-law, Presiding and Nancy Taggart (Reading); his sons, Jeni DeVries Speaker and BriAnne Burns (Joey Burns); his grandsons, Bryan McCarty and Concluding Remarks (Bishop Justin Hogge Closing Hymn); and his son Matt Taggart (Dedication). He is also survived by his six children and their spouses; 14 amazingly talented grandkids.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the LDS Chapel (5378 W Old Hwy Rd, Mountain Green, UT 84050).
