He is survived by: his father Gordon R. Smith (Sherie); his wife Jodie Smith; his children, Nathan Hamblin (Lisa), Nicholas Hamblin (Rebecca) and Autumn Hess; and his siblings, Kimberlee Haberkorn (Dave), Christena Palmer (Jason), Lee Smith (Tara) and Lindsie Smith (Chris Jennings). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
