She was predeceased by: her parents, Felicia Tomasa George Zuniga and Mario Rogelio Rodriguez Daz; her children, Antonio Jose Castillo and Virginia Maria Johnson; and her granddaughter Lily Sara Dedman.

She is survived by: her husband Ricardo Rafael Castillo Cepeda; her children, Ricardo (Mechele), Carlos (Sandra), Saul (Sara) and Lourdes Dedman (Wade); her children-in-law, Vivian Castillo and Lonnie Johnson; and her brother Alfonso Rodriguez. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren.
