He was predeceased by: his parents, William Alfred and Hannah Jane Smith; his siblings, Bill, Vernon (Jiggs), Ransom and June (Sis); and his son Steve Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie J. Smith; and his son Stan Smith. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter.
