She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Lyman and Audrey Ruesch; her brother Andy Ruesch; and her daughter Tina Herdt (Doug). She is survived by: her husband Arlington; her children, Jana DeYoung (Dave), Alison Carver (Sean), Tammy Ulrich (Mike), John Wood (Lisa), Wendi Austad (Greg), Gary Wood (Rongmei), Steven Wood (Meghan) and Emily Wariner (Nate); and her siblings, Richard Ruesch (Leanne), Jan Ruesch (Peggy), Sally Whitney (Darrell) and LaNita Hadley.
