She was predeceased by: her parents, William Slate and Alice Jenson Slate. She is survived by: her husband Robert M. Stott; her siblings, Joan Hoskins and Dick Slate (Chris); her sons, Brian Sperry and Greg B. Sperry; and her stepchildren, Robert Stott (Cari), Bobette Stott and JoDee Valerio (Cary). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
