He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Caperton and Jane Caperton; and his siblings, Jane Stangel, Bud Abrams, Thomas Caperton Jr. and Juanita Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Caperton (Waycott); his children, Neil Caperton, Jason, Jamie Caperton (Hepner) and Marie Deamer; his grandchildren, Evan, Briquelle (Caperton), Bellier, Baylor Caperton, Devry Caperton, McKenna Caperton (Nathan Collins), Owen Ryan, Delaney Deamer, Kingston Deamer and Keeley Caperton; his great grandchild Everly Collins; his brother Jeff Caperton; and his caregiver Marcie.
