She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Leslie Darwin Byrd; her children, Val Peterson (Lorri), Julane Henzler (Shannon), Marvin Peterson (Jhen), Wayne Peterson (Tracy), Marilyn Darling, Daniel Peterson (CarrolLee), Hans Peterson (Amanda) and Tina Adams (Raymond); her parents, Val Jones and Evelyn Jones; her siblings, Valgean Raddon (Bill), Beverly Graetz (Gary), Kathaleen Brock, Bruce Jones (Elaine), Vilate Fields (Jeff) and Deloris Halton (Ron); her former husband Bill Peterson; and also, Doris Wasden and Marva Braun. She was also cherished by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
The family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to Pancan.org for Pancreatic Cancer research in support of her son Daniel's ongoing battle with the disease.
