He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Layton Barton and Florence Elizabeth Richter; his sister Cindy Louise; and his granddaughter Sage. He is survived by: his son Tyler Palmer (Sarah Barth); his wife Judy De Palmer; his children, Heidi (Thad Ballard), Chris (Amy Belnap) and Jodi (Sherri Crook); his grandchildren, Benjamin, Logan (Emma Parsons), Carson, Taylor (David Hadley), Rhett, Grady, Jenner, Addy, Haley Zachary (Brent Blackwell), Kelsey, Amanda, Isaac, Oliver and Avery; and his great grandchildren, Luca and Heath.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Chapel (380 S Fairfield Rd E, Layton, UT 84041). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
