He was predeceased by: his parents, George Frederick and Florence Headman Jex; and his stepchildren, Fred and Jean Ann. He is survived by: his wife Doris K. Hunter; his brother Lynn Jex; his stepchildren, Debra Steere (Keith), Gail Eborn (Mark), Lisa Nielsen (Kerry), Craig Jex (Ruth), Joylyn Taylor (Shelton), JaNell Spencer (Douglas), Jeff Jex (Rachel) and Jennifer Mackey (Don); and his brother Rodney Jex. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
