With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Muriel Jean Gifford (La Verkin, Utah), born in Cedar City, Utah, who passed away on June 9, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Applegate and Katherine Applegate; her husband Nathan Bernarr Gifford; her brother James Applegate; and her grandsons, Matthew Gifford and Zachary Gifford.

She is survived by: her sisters, Elda Kirkpatrick and Kathleen Snow; and her children, Nalani Jean Stewart (Howard), Steven Terry Gifford, William Tell Gifford, Marianne Schultz (Barry) and Kathleen Craner. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
