He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, LaMar Soren and Veneta Hannah Williams Madsen; his wife Mary Beth Harward Madsen; and his children, Sandy Padilla (John), Gary Madsen (Sharilyn), Dave Madsen, Lance Madsen (late Krista), Jeffery Perkins (Wendy), Randy Perkins (Tracie) and Cheryl Lynn Nielsen (Ryan). He was also cherished by 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
