He was predeceased by: his parents, Lane Burton and Rozella Burton; his sister Patricia McBride; and his children, Kim Burton Liquori (Michael) and Michael Todd Burton.
He is survived by: his former wife Judith Schofield; his son Bob; his brother Alan Burton; and his children, Brandon Burton and Stacey Burton Harrison. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families, his four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
