He was predeceased by: his parents, Lydia and John; his sisters, Merle and Doris; and his wife Jerry.

He is survived by: his sons, Kurt (Tammy) and Doug (Laura); and his brother Lloyd (Mellanee). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
