He was predeceased by: his parents, Quintin R. Hess and Vonda Belle Tolman; his son Gregory Harold; and his siblings, Charles, Quintin Jr. and Gaylene.
He is survived by: his significant other Jane Henrie; his children, Spencer Hess (Heather), Emily Brown (Mike), Katie Moulding (Adam) and Abi Hassinger (Jed); his great grandchild Beckett; and his siblings, Judy Richards, Mary Perry (Mike), Timothy Hess (Karen), David Hess (Rocky), Vaughn Hess (Tonya), Barry Hess (Joelle) and Becky Ewing (Jeff). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints- Kaysville (1085 N 50 E, Kaysville, UT 84037). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1085 N 50 E, Kaysville, UT 84037). A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the Fielding Cemetery (17200 N 4400 W, Fielding, UT 84311).
