It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmer Simmons (Kaysville, Utah), born in Layton, Utah, who passed away on October 14, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vivan Simmons (Ted) and Ethel Simmons (Smart); his siblings, Donald Simmons (LaFay), Marian Wanner (Jon), Eileen Taylor (Jay) and Carolyn Martin; and his grandson Jon Christensen (Jocelyn).
He is survived by: his sister Debra Larsen (Gordon); his wife Joanne Simmons; and his children, Cathy Christensen (Kurt), Jolene Hanline (Jeff), Julie Knighton (Guy) and Jason Simmons (Julie). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be held Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 N. Main St., Kaysville, Utah. favorite_border Donations Pledges.
