He was predeceased by: his father James Richard Potter; and his brother Edward. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Naegle; his children, Kaylynn (David), Scott (Melanie), Brent (Melissa) and Thomas (Sarah); his grandchildren, Mathew, Blake, Hailey, Jaden, Cooper, Kennedy, Samantha, Hunter, Haydon and Jaxson; his mother Bernice Potter-Wilson; and his siblings, Diane (Dan), Gary (Marcie), John (Linda), Wayne (Cheryl), Keith (Jolynn) and Raymond (Naoma).
