She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lynn J. Elkington and Georgia Hammond Elkington; her husband John Alton Peterson; her brothers, Verle Lynn and James Wesley; her son Phillip John Peterson (Sherron); her grandchild PJ (Kailee); her great grandchildren, Connor, Noel, Brennen (Danna) and Mikaela (Nick Trythall); her grandson Nathan; her son David James Peterson (Christine); her grandchildren, Kylee (Alyssa) and Alexa Olsen (Isaac); her daughter Jan Dawson (Steven); her grandchild Taylor (Madisen); and her great grandchildren, Lucy, Spencer (Kylie), Paige and Maren.
