He was predeceased by: his parents, Milo Watts and Cleown Winget Watts; his sister-in-law Vicki Watts; his daughter-in-law Brenda Barker; and his great grandchild Zander Barker.

He is survived by: his former wife Claudia Elliott; his wife Myrna McInelly; his children, Danny Joe Watts, Shirley Klosiewski (Tom), Daril Watts, Luke Watts (Cheri), Bonnie Clemmons (John), Darwin Barker (Marianne), Kenny Barker, Scott Barker (Teresa) and Lynette Liston (Matt); and his siblings, Leonard Watts (Lorraine), Clark Watts, Clella Fleming (Art) and Clara Hart (Kenny). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
