He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Oliver Hansen and Elaine Hansen; his brothers, Garry and Lynn; his wife Barbara; his children, Chet Richard Hansen (Amy), Shanna Hansen (Brent Tolbert), Thomas Craig Hansen (Aubrie), Cynthia Hansen Child and Robert Sterling Hansen (Kylie); his grandson Colton; and also Annette.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Santaquin Stake Center (45 South 500 West 84043).
