He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernestine Jacklin and Henry Lyman Bethers; his wife Gloria Belle Russell; his siblings, Lorin and Velma; his children, Russell Bethers (Sherri), Laura Preece, Christine Smith (Patrick), David Bethers (Jennie), John Bethers (Aileen) and Daniel Bethers (Kirsten); his sister-in-law Marilyn Bethers (Lorin); his siblings, Dwaine and Ruth Dunbar (Ray); and his grandfather Ray. He was also cherished by 26 Grandchildren and 20 Great-Grandchildren.
