It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mike Pettis of Ivins, Utah, born in Sharon Springs, Kansas, who passed away on October 2, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gordon F. Pettis and Gwendolyn Gailey Pettis; his former wife Josephine Pauline Montrone; his wife Fran Smith; his children, Jodie Huntsman (Nick) of St. George, UT, John Pettis (Michelle) of Hurricane, UT, Anna Verrinder (Mark) of Boise, ID, Lew Pettis (Jenn) of Boise, ID and Michael Pettis; and his sister Joan Colburn.
