She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Hugh Simmons and Mary Elizabeth Pendleton. She is survived by: her siblings, James Leslie Simmons, Timothy Heath Simmons and Martha Jane Simmons; her husband Howard Sierer; her children, Todd (Katie) and Liz (Scott Valdivieso); and her grandchildren, Clark, Javier, Charlotte, Ellie, Isabel, Hannah and Lucia.
